Before Le Mans there is another venerable endurance event: The 24 Hours of Nürburgring. The event snakes its way through the historic Nordschleife which last saw major Grand Prix action in 1976. Armed with the iconic “Silver Arrow” Grand Prix race car teams exceeded speeds of 380 kilometers/hour. Both manufacturer’s names became synonymous with high speed performance which left a lasting effect on the public and...

Plant Companions List for Ten Common Vegetables →
“Just as some people seem to rub each other the wrong way, so are many plants incompatible with one another! Other plants absolutely thrive when planted near each other.”

Who would have figured sailing was competitive enough to warrant industrial espionage. Damn you Larry Ellison!
Air Marshals’ Secret Communication Weapon →
If you’re a U.S. Air Marshal patrolling the friendly skies, you’ll want to communicate discreetly with fellow on-board marshals, airport ground crew, cockpit crew and flight attendants if you need to thwart an attack.

Oprah KFC Coupon Riot! →
Re: Gawker: “I just returned from my lunch break hoping to use the attached coupon
to score some free KFC grilled chicken at the mid town location 47 E.
42nd Street. Well I guess around 200 people also had the same idea
with coupons in hand.”
Sort of reminds me of a Billy Mays commercial that urges “The first 100 callers”. You, me and how many other countless...

“CNN has become a prisoner of its own technology.”
I despise cable news, both FOX and MSNBC. Still after the ripping Jon Stewart gave them, I can’t help but feel sorry for CNN.. and their buggy magic screen.

I just witnessed one of the coolest “car” projects for kids ever. A motorized Radio Flyer wagon on the show Gearz. I’d have loved one of these as a kid, granted I’d never let my children drive this around the way I would have. Call it the old PU double standard.
